Creative Asia Foundation (CAF) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded funding through Creative Australia’s Company Director Capability Fund for Organisations to strengthen the governance, leadership and long-term sustainability of the organisation.

The funding will support governance and leadership training for key Board members and staff through the Institute of Community Directors Australia.

This investment will strengthen CAF’s governance capability, strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management and organisational leadership as the Foundation continues to expand its multicultural arts programs and the Creative Asia Art Centre and Melbourne Art Advancement Centre in Melbourne .

Creative Asia Foundation sincerely thanks Creative Australia for its support and investment in the organisation’s future. This funding recognises the importance of strong governance in building sustainable arts organisations that serve diverse communities across Australia.

“The support from Creative Australia will enable us to strengthen our governance and leadership capacity at a critical stage of our growth,” said Kevan Fok, Chair of Creative Asia Foundation. “The knowledge and skills gained through this program will help us build a stronger organisation, improve our governance practices and better support artists, cultural practitioners and multicultural communities.”

The project forms part of Creative Asia Foundation’s ongoing commitment to good governance, organisational excellence and sustainable growth. The enhanced governance capability will support the organisation in delivering high-quality exhibitions, artist development programs, cultural exchange initiatives and community engagement activities throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
