Call for Artists: Emerging Art Beat – United in Culture, Of Memory, and the Worlds We’re Yet to Make

Time: 21 – 28 June 2025

Place: Le Grange Gallery, World Trade Centre, Melbourne

Presented by Australia Multi Arts and Culture Council (AMACC) and Creative Asia Foundation

We are now inviting expressions of interest from young and emerging artists based in Melbourne or regional Victoria for Emerging Art Beat: United in Culture, a curated group exhibition celebrating multicultural voices in contemporary art.

Under the theme “Of Memory, and the Worlds We’re Yet to Make”, this exhibition explores cultural memory, identity, and the possibilities of imagined futures. Artists working in any medium are encouraged to apply, including painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, installation, performance, sound and digital forms.

We particularly welcome applications from:

  • Artists from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds

  • First Nations artists

  • Emerging, student or self-taught practitioners

Participation models include:

  • Commission-based opportunities for works available for sale

  • Exhibition fee support for early-career artists

  • Optional inclusion in public programs such as talks, workshops, or performances

To apply or find out more, submit your Expression of Interest or contact our team for an informal chat.
