Beneath One Moon Exhibition
Beneath One Moon is a contemporary art exhibition celebrating connection, belonging and our shared human experience through the symbolic presence of the moon.
Across cultures and generations, the moon has long represented reunion, memory, longing and connection. No matter where we come from or how far apart we may be, we look towards the same moon.
Bringing together diverse artistic perspectives, the exhibition explores ideas of cultural identity, home, migration, memory and belonging, inviting artists to reflect on the invisible connections that bring people together across distance and difference.
Presented at Creative Asia Art Centre by Lions Club of Melbourne Ausina and partner with Australia Multi Art & Culture Council , Beneath One Moon creates a space where cultures and stories meet through contemporary art — reminding us that while our journeys may be different, we continue to share the same sky.

THEME
Beneath One Moon
Beneath One Moon explores how the Mid-Autumn Festival can be understood and reimagined through a multicultural and global perspective. For Asian communities living across different countries, the moon carries memories of home, family and cultural heritage, while also becoming a shared symbol that reaches beyond borders, languages and identities.
At a time when the world continues to experience conflict, division and uncertainty, the exhibition invites artists to reflect on what it means to live beneath the same moon. Despite our different histories, cultures and beliefs, we share one world and a common desire for peace, connection and belonging.
Through contemporary art, Beneath One Moon explores cultural identity, migration, harmony and coexistence, asking how we might find balance amid difference and build understanding across communities. The moon becomes more than a symbol of reunion — it becomes a reminder of our shared humanity and the possibility of finding peace in an increasingly divided world.
