Threads of Love is a contemporary cultural exhibition presented by the Creative Asia Art Centre (CAAC) as part of the Double Seventh Cultural Week. Inspired by the traditions and stories of the Qixi Festival, the exhibition explores how threads connect people across generations, cultures, memories, and places.
Bringing together artists working across painting, installation, textile art, photography, sculpture, moving image, and mixed media, the exhibition examines themes of love, migration, family, craftsmanship, identity, and belonging. Through diverse artistic practices, Threads of Love reflects on the invisible connections that shape our relationships, preserve cultural heritage, and weave together personal and collective histories.
More than an exhibition, Threads of Love creates a space for dialogue, participation, and cultural exchange. Through artworks, public programs, workshops, and community engagement, the exhibition invites audiences to celebrate traditional culture through contemporary artistic expression while fostering meaningful connections across communities.
Opening Ceremony: Friday, 14 August 2026, 6:00 PM β 8:00 PM
