Important Announcement: AFBC 2025 Transition to Online Format
We regret to inform you that the Asian Fashion Business Conference (AFBC) 2025, originally scheduled to take place in person at BCEC Brisbane from 17-19 March 2025, will now be transitioned to a fully online format due to severe weather conditions caused by Tropical Cyclone Alfred and the ongoing flooding situation. The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has issued official warnings of heavy rainfall, flooding, and disruptions to transport and infrastructure. After careful consultation with Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), the City of Brisbane, and key stakeholders, the Creative Asia Foundation (CAF) has made the difficult decision to move the event online to ensure the safety of all attendees on 7 March 2025.
Transition to Virtual Conference:
Despite the cancellation of the in-person event, AFBC 2025 will now take place as an exclusive two-day (18 & 19 March) virtual conference, ensuring continued access to valuable industry insights. This online experience will bring together industry leaders, sustainability experts, and business innovators to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in fashion, procurement, and sustainability.
